    • It was such a great post! I think all bloggers, at some point, get caught up in trying to seem perfect or to fit in with other bloggers. It’s great to be reminded that we are all ‘perfectly imperfect’ and that our blogs have worth.

    • I’m definitely going to start saying I’m taking a horizontal life pause. I mean, don’t we all need a pause every now and again? 🙂

  • Horizontal life pauses!!! I love it!!!

I just about passed out from the awesomeness that was The Carlton. I don’t watch DWTS so when the video went around last week, I had to watch it. I’m so glad I did!

    • Oh, I was so excited when I heard about the video too! It’s probably one of the only times I’ve ever watched a DWTS video. 🙂

  • I don’t watch DWTS so I am so glad you shared that gem!

    • I don’t watch it either, but thankfully it was all over my FB newsfeed! 😀

Oh the Carlton dance def rocks. I hope he wins this season.

Loved your favorite quote. It’s great to remind little girls, that they can become whoever they want to be and for the grown ups – it’s never too late to take your life in your own hand and change something.

    • There are definitely other kinds of wasted you can get – chocolate wasted, sugar wasted, caffeine wasted! Haha. 🙂

I love Alfonso and his Carlton dance! He’s definitely got some awesome moves.

And I love the way you interpreted that quote. It really is a great reminder that we can all still create the life we want. 🙂

  • OMG I love that cat!! He made me smile. 🙂 Hihi.. so cute. 🙂 I love fat cats. 🙂

  • Horizontal life pauses, love it!! So glad he finally did the Carlton.

  • Hahaha. I will now refer to all of my naps as horizontal life pauses. That sounds so much better!! 🙂
