Happy Valentine’s Day! Right about now the endless posts of flowers, chocolates, and gushing sentiment are taking over all social media sites. Couples will be making googly eyes all day, while singles will either be uniting in solidarity or protesting the Hallmark holiday. But I say, Valentine’s Day is for everyone! Friends. Lovers. Singles. Couples. We all deserve to celebrate the love in our lives – romantic, friendly, and self-love. So treat yourself. Tell your friends how much they mean to you. And kiss your significant other.
In order to take back this day for all kinds of love, I created a Secret Valentine gift exchange. It’s much like Secret Santa with less jolly old men and more chocolate. And anything with more chocolate is totally awesome in my book!
Well, today is the big reveal! We all get to showcase our Secret Valentines and the all the goodies they sent us! Click on the links below to check out all the other blogs that participated.
Unfortunately, my Secret Valentine was snowed in for a few days so my gift is still making its way to me. (The weather has been crazy yo!) The minute I receive it you will be the first to know, after I scream for joy, of course. I just love receiving presents. 😀
On the other hand, I was lucky enough to be Karen’s Secret Valentine! You should head over to her blog, A Peek at Karen’s World, to find out what I sent her. And I hope the rest of you are also able to show off your V-day loot!
In the mean time, this amazing day filled with love is the perfect opportunity to celebrate my love of all things geeky. I did say it was a day for all types of love – geeky included.
Totally found my new pickup line.
You can be the Gollum to my precious. 😉
Very wise man.
My heart is absolutely Sher-locked.
Looks like Watson did his homework.
I’d be his cherry pie any day.
I love Daryl more than a zombie loves brains.
Don’t forget to grab a button. Then check out all the other Secret Valentine’s to see what lovely gifts they received.
You can also check out more Valentine’s goodness with Helene!
